Vampires
Appearance
Vampires are breathtakingly beautiful - a trait which is another in their arsenal of weapons to make them enticing to their prey. When a human is changed into a Vampire, everything about them is inhanced, including their physical appearance. Obviously, however beautiful the Vampire is, is dependant on how beautiful the human was before this. This is also believed to be true about mental traits - such as caring and love, which will be enhanced during the transformation. However, in some cases the Vampire may not be so physically attractive if they weren't as a human. This is rare because when a Vampire is searching for a companion they are often drawn by beauty.
Vampire's that are somewhere civilized are described to have a walk that is fluent and almost as graceful as dancing in some cases. The more uncivilized Vampires have a walk that is considered 'cat-like'. They are far more like animals, and a lot more wild.
A Vampire's eyes change colour depending on their feeding habits and how hungry they are. It will take roughly two weeks for a Vampire's eyes to turn completely black from hunger. A new Vampire is easily distinguishable by their bright red eyes that fade to a darker burgundy colour over the course of a year - this is due to the amount of human blood still in their body after the transformation

Vampire's do not have fangs. Instead their teeth are razor sharp and as a result when they bite a human they do not make two small marks in their neck, it is much more gruesome than that. Their teeth are also venomous, which is how a human is changed (see below).
If a Vampire cuts their hair, it will never grow back as their body stops cycling. Their skin also changes texture as the way their body has changed makes it seem like it is made from diamonds.
Physical
When a vampire is created, they not only have their appearance enhanced, their physical abilities are too. They aquire supernatural abilities.
One of these abilities is speed. Vampires are able to move faster than the human eye can follow - depending on the speed of the Vampire, they may be able to see a faint blur. They can move fast enough to cover walks that would take a human all day in a matter of minutes. It does not tire them out and is like a second nature to the Vampire. Not only physical movement is increased, Vampire's are able to speak fast enough that humans are unable to hear.
Another ability is enhanced strength. Their strength is enough to stop an oncomming car and depending on how strong the human was, this will effect how strong they are as a Vampire. Vampire's strength depends on how much they feed. Ones that feed off humans are stronger than those that feed off animals - though only fractionally - and newborn's - as a result of the human blood still left in their system - are much stronger than older Vampires. A Vampire cannot die from starvation, but it does weaken them and ultimately their willpower to resist the tempation of blood. Vampire's are much less capable of rational thought and tend to act through their animal instincts to hunt humans.
A Vampire's hearing and eyesight is also enhanced, they don't need to breath and their heart stops beating. Vampire's cannot fall pregnant as when they are changed it as if their body stands still in time. To fall pregant would mean a physical change in their body. They also don't need to sleep as they will never get tired. They don't have blood and they can't cry.
Vampire's body's are as stronge as granite which means they are unable to be hurt by things which would injure a human. In the odd event that a Vampire comes across something that will cut their flesh, the only blood will be that of any humans they have drunk from, otherwise all that will leave the body is a little venom. Therefore, the only way to kill a Vampire is to rip them to shreds and then burn the pieces.
When a Vampire starts to drink from a human, it is unlikely that they will be able to stop, which is why so little Vampire's are created. Vampire's can seperate the smells of blood as there are - to them - a lot of different types and smells.
Becoming A Vampire
When a human is changed, the sensation into becoming a Vampire is one of the most painful things they're ever likely to experience. The more bites the human has, the more painful the experience is likely to be. The transformation is so painful that the human would most likely be wishing for death and the time for which is lasts is dependant on how much venom is passed into the bloodstream and how close the bite was to the heart. The venom is passed around the body as the heart keeps beating

The final stage in change is when the heart stops, at which point the human becomes a Vampire.

Werewolves
Werewolves are believed to only morph during full moons and people also think that the only way to kill them is by shooting them with a silver bullet. This is not true and possibly the only way for a werewolf to be killed is in the same way as a vampire - which would be the reason for the two being mortal enemies.
Werewolves are created when they sense a vampire threat around and the genes are passed through generations in familes. The transformation doesn't last long and by the time it is finished, their body temperature rises so dramatically that if they were human, they should be dead. Their body - like vampire's - also heals wounds a lot faster than a humans and a few broken bones would probably take roughly three days for the body to heal.
Morphing into a werewolf is not dependent on the full moon and can happen any time the person wants it to, though it is possible for them to lose control and morph for this reason. When a person is in their wolf form, they can hear the thoughts off all others in their forms too and cannot control anything they are thinking.
There is no set age to when they will first change, though it's usually as they hit their teens. The first transformation can be triggered by a strong emotion.

Board Plot
Vampori High has been around since the early 1600's - though then it wasn't a school, but a extermination ground for vampires and the odd cases of werewolves - and was originally founded by a wealthy vampire hunter. He called the extermination grounds "Vampiro Nex" which in rough translation from Latin to English becomes "Vampire Death".
It wasn't until the mid 1700's that the grounds were changed into a school and the name changed to "Vampori High" in memory of what used to be there. The numbers started off small at first, but gradually grew and the school grounds have almost doubled in size since it was founded.

An unwritten Treaty exists that states Vampires must stay on their Territory and that the Werewolves must stay on theirs. If either crosses the boarder, the other reserves the right to attack them without warning. Humans of course are free to go wherever they please.
In addition to this, the Vampire's must not feed of the humans if they live here and are only allowed to drink from animals in the mountains or forest. Biting a human gives the werewolves the right to attack them.
